A calm 5-day Golden Triangle for first-time visitors

The Golden Triangle can feel like a checklist. It doesn't have to. Give Delhi a full day — Humayun's Tomb at golden hour, an unhurried Old Delhi food walk, and a rooftop dinner in Nizamuddin. Drive to Agra on day two, catch the Taj at sunset from Mehtab Bagh, and return at sunrise the next morning for the crowd-free view.

Fatehpur Sikri en route to Jaipur breaks the drive nicely. In Jaipur, split Amber Fort (early morning) and City Palace (late afternoon), leaving time for a bazaar wander and a quiet heritage-hotel evening. Day five is optional Nahargarh sunrise, breakfast, and drive back to Delhi.

This pace assumes private cars, boutique 4-star stays, and a guide only on monument days. Ask us for a variant with a Ranthambore extension, or a compressed 4-day version for tighter schedules.
